Phap Vu, who brings a unique blend of academic excellence and practical experience to the field of architecture. Holding a Doctorate of Architecture, Phap has been working professionally for over ten years.  His doctoral thesis focused on innovative floating architecture as a resilient solution to sea-level rise specifically within the context of Hawaii, demonstrating his deep commitment to sustainable design and development.  

 

Phap's passion for architecture began early in his life, growing up in rural Vietnam. This interest became hands-on as a teenager when he actively assisted his father in the design and construction of their family home.  

 

Beyond his professional pursuits, Phap is an avid enthusiast of the outdoors, particularly enjoying hiking, swimming, surfing, and various other ocean activities.
